Hi Richar
One thing that I put into place since the seminar last week is having a video interview uploaded on the Skillbase Migration website. Archie Juanta and Ivy Padilla's stories have just gone live
I enjoyed the course very much and am looking forward to putting some of the strategies into practice as I get back into some recruitment for Education Personnel.
I look forward to hearing from you thanks Annalise

Hi Richard,
Thankyou for an excellent presentation this morning on presenting.
I left feeling entertained, informed and in some cases simply reminded of previous skills I had learnt and simply forgotten due to lack of use. Coupled with some new concepts that I feel will be beneficial for both myself and our company.
Thanks again and I look forward to future presentations.

This morning, after the seminar, I decided to put together a complete new presentation to the forthcoming visit by the local National MP’s and Electoral candidates, emphasising the key messages we want to convey, winning them as endorsees and rather than bombard them with facts and figures on the morning we will put together a briefing paper which they can take away with them.
The key messages will be:
- The success of Hospice South Auckland is something for our whole community to be proud of, there are many ways in which this Hospice is a leader, it touches all groups in our community and is a shared community treasure
- Helping the Hospice succeed is a good experience, it is uplifting and enables us as a community to offer a superb standard of care to a surprisingly wide variety of people who are facing a challenge that touches us all
- We depend on volunteers and donations in order to continue the work we are already established as leaders in and to ensure that a very high standard of care can be offered above the basic level provided for by government funding
Thanks for this morning.
Regards
Gary W Sturgess, Chief Executive, Hospice South Auckland

Hi Richard
I recalled your offer at the end of your seminar for a free motivation CD.
Currently I have implemented the pen theory and now always try to not fold my arms in meetings.
I am referring to your leaflet you gave us for your talk to find other ways of doing things and find it very helpful.
I do spend a lot of time in the car and would find a motivational CD very useful.
Once again thanks very much. I appreciated your time

Hi Richard,
Thank you once again for an inspiring session last Wednesday.
As requested, the one task I have put into place is having an agenda for my meetings and asking everyone to discuss their Wins of the Week. It really helps set the right mood for the meetings.
Thank you.

Dear Richard, Hello, Sir. How are you? I hope well. I was reviewing your slideology web site for information to put together a class presentation on leadership and saw your offer to review submissions to offer advice and suggestions to improve them. Do you still do this? Is it free? If it is would please look over mine and see what you think? I am in community college in Harrisburg PA. my major is building construction technology/mass communications. I think your website is quite helpful and am thankful for people like yourself who do not always feel a need to profit from your knowledge. Thank you for your time and considerations. Sincerely, Michael L. O'Connell

Hi Richard
Thanks for the seminars last week, they were very interesting.
The time management seminar was especially relevant to me at the moment, and I've taken on board a couple of ideas already, namely putting a 12 week plan in place for fulfilling my market research into Australia, and taking a more hard lined approach to dealing with interruptions!

Geewiz that was fabulous last Monday. A number of my business members have made comments like:-
- Positive and very personable speaker.
- Great refreshing the old skills and learning something new – can’t wait for the next seminar.
- Made you think outside the square and focus on change
- Simple but effective tips that we all neglect or don’t bother with. Great for sharpening up our skills.

Kia Ora, Its was a great pleasure to learn & receive beside you all yesterday! Thank you. Just like to share a few small wins I've had today! I have managed to complete 8 actions on my Action List by prioritising them using the ABC. So many times I've actually stopped & asked myself, "Will this generate income!" Another proud moment for me is I managed to stick to a 30min appraisal with a team member today, I've never done 1 less than an hour before!!!! I had my whanau all in at the cafe today, my Dad 3 of my-in-laws, & 2 daughters. Mentally I gave myself a time limit to socialise (listening to them!) & stuck to it. I felt so empowered! Hi and congratulations on 25 years. I will be in Auckland from around lunchtime Monday 14 July to late morning Wednesday 16 July (I am busy from 11am to 2pm on the Tuesday) and if you had been around with time to meet I would like to catch up. Have you been doing much with accountants and accounting firms, my area of speciality? Anyway it would be good to meet perhaps for a coffee and short chat?
Let me know if you have the time. Meanwhile, I wish you great success for the next 25 years.
I have never forgotten your support as you recorded my talk during a (low participant numbers ) presentation an NZNSA Conference now many years ago. Still I always recall at one point Michael with the coloured shoes from the US, pulled out a notepad and took down an action item!

My Dear Richard,
! I had attended your training programme on Sensational selling skills at KMA,Kochi and I would like thank you for the well planned session
I have started implementing the SPEND technique and blended it with VAR during my Sales calls
This has helped me in two ways 1. I could plan well in advance with the structure 2. I could asses the response in a scientific manner
I am interested in knowing how a marketing plan can be made professionally.

Dear Sir,
First of all my heartfelt thanks for your help. I have used some of your tips and the results was amazing. One company, they are not at all ready to hear my words, when i show them one of the testimonials which i was fortunately having, has given me some of the vacancies for our students. I don't know how to thank you sir, because now a days i feel lot more confidence to face the company people and i am enjoying talking with them. So once again I thank you for your help. and also i am using some of the tips which i got from your website also, like power of thank you, marketing your profile etc...
thanking you,
yours faithfully

Hi Richard
Thanks for last week’s seminar, very interesting and useful
I have spent more time setting appointments, 4 a day Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday with 2 on Friday, I am holding the pen which I am finding useful even if it is just a better way to use my hands, and also to make notes during the meeting and when I get back to the car. I am evaluating the meeting and making notes for improvements in my presentation, and of anything I may have missed out or done better.
It is all helping me feel more confident and relaxed
I am looking forward to receiving your CDs and listening to them between calls
Thanks again
Kind Regards
Anthony

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the seminar last week it was very helpful and motivational. I have been reviewing my processes for the past week now and identified where I am losing time and am working to rectify these issues and to delegate where possible. My attitude has been a lot more positive since I returned to work on Monday (maybe that was just the weekend and the beers at the hotel - kidding) and in speaking with my customers I’m finding them to be opening up more over the phone.
Thanks for your time and I hope I can be part of another one of your seminars in the future,
Many Thanks & Best Regards,

Hi Richard,
Thank you for a very well planned, informative and fun course, it’s a credit to you.
One task, it’s hard to let you know one task I have put into place as I learn so many. However, I install turned off my email message notification and found what I would suggest in an hour a day.
I have also adopted praise. I have always been one to correct people but low on praise. That has changed and motivation of staff in a lot better.
Also added my phone contacts to sign off on emails.
Also we all have our 90 day plans under way
Thank again

Hi Richard,
Just a quick email to let you know that I have put a few of your suggestions into practice and am working on my 90 day plan.
So far I have been constantly checking my attitude towards my work and doing it with a smile.
I have also prioritized my time. I have a window where I am not to be disturbed now and I have been praising my juniors a lot more (not too much).
Thanks again for a fabulous seminar.
Regards,
Garin Hildebrand Team Leader Milspec Services Pty Ltd
Hi Richard,
I have learnt to remove distractions by removing my personal mobile phone from my desk, reducing how often I check my e-mails and requesting that team members interrupt me only at certain times of the day, not by calling me on the phone. I have also requested that they review a few files before asking me questions rather than reviewing one, asking me questions, then reviewing another and asking me more questions. This has helped my ‘time management’.
Best Regards,
Kate Holliday TEAM LEADER Milspec Services Pty Ltd
Hi Richard,
Thanks for all the emails. It was great catching up with you nearly two weeks ago now, and I really enjoyed the course as did the others who attended. For me it reinforced a lot of things we should all be doing on a daily basis, but more importantly what I hadn’t been doing when I knew better.
Anyway, just thought I’d share one of the things that I did do/had success with, and that was to follow through the sales process, thru to the summary. The feedback from the customer has been excellent, and we are steering down the path of a sizeable order.
Anyway – thank you for making me remember.
Very best regards,

Good Afternoon Richard,
Just wanted to give you an update with my progress since the Serious Selling course at Sanctuary Cove a couple of weeks ago.
I couldn’t list just the one thing that I have improved as I believe I have changed is a lot of ways. I am more motivated and completing a lot more work throughout the day, on the phone to customers more, asking more questions, visiting them face to face within the next 2 weeks and scheduled for more throughout the year.
I have even put my hand up to take on more work for the next financial year.
Thank you so much for unlocking the potential I knew I had but found hard to unlock.

I’m sorry I had to leave at 3.30: I had to relieve Paul who had to be back at work by 4.00. It’s a shame I missed the last

Hello Richard,
just thought you may be interested in the results of your idea that I "triall" some small (100 ml) bottles of Olive Oil at our local Farmer's market.
Over three months, since last November, almost one half of sales , by number, was of the 100 ml bottles, versus the standard 250 ml bottles.
However, it comprised less than one quarter of sales by volume of oil.
I have decided to stick with the new size in addition to the 250 ml bottles and the 2 litre cartons as they are so popular, but feel that I am selling bottles and labels rather than oil!
Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Richard, Thanks for your input into my business over the past two months. The sales seminar this week was really helpful. As per your advice I emailed my contacts regarding my Kodak Gold Award. I also mentioned in that email that I have some portrait specials on for Xmas. I have added the winning image to my website and have been reading the resources on your site. I’m aware of the hitting people three times factor. I’ve put together this portrait pdf.(attached) and am thinking to email a follow-up letting people know that the image is now on the site and attaching said pdf. I am meeting with my website designer next week so could follow up the third time in a couple of weeks once the site has been fully updated. What do you think??? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks again. Oh…….and if this qualifies for any free CD’s I’d be rapt!

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your time last week. We have taken immediate action, first to go was the junk table. I have contracted a professional merchandiser/interior designer to merchandise the store and teach the staff how to do it. She started on Sunday. The shop looks heaps better. I’ve also contracted someone to write the stories for me and design and organize the signage and stories for the studio as I am flat out co-ordinating the orders and working with corporates as it’s our busiest time of the year wholesale. We have quotes coming in for glass today.
Cheers, Jenni

Hi Richard,
Hiria Minnell here. Not sure if you remember me but we met on a plane, leaving Napier a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted to thank you again for the conversation and also wanted to let you know that I have a presentation coming up and will be using some of the suggestions you made. The presentation is for the Young Maori Leaders Conference in>Wellington and I will be presenting from the angle of how good tobacco company marketing strategies are. Looking at how the understand and listen to their consumers and promote New Zealand and our culture. I will be using the Maori Mix campaign (cigarette pack called Maori Mix, marketed in Israel) as a final insult.
Hoping it all goes well. Thanks again for your advice.

Dear Richard,
It is not usual that Centre Trust gets involved in the day to day running of The Centre but in the case of the Rotary Conference I believe it appropriate that we congratulate Orewa Rotary and thank you personally for your initiative, forsight and drive in staging what was truly a wonderful weekend.Your vision in choosing The Centre as your venue and your drive for perfection together with a wonderful committee opened our eyes to what our facility can cater for.
The Trust would now like to thank for your efforts in obtaining the grant from past district governor Merv Huxford which will certainly be used for capital expenditure. Many thanks. Please advise the address of the trust so we can respond to the grant.
I understand that it may be possible to obtain further grants from the Trust with help of the Kerikeri Rotary Club and would welcome any suggestion regarding this.
Once again thank you for your wonderful support

Hello Richard,
I think we all really enjoyed your training sessions and they were well tailored to the team, so thank you very much for that. I’m sure everyone has managed to gain a few new tools that they will be able to put into practise straight away, and a few for the toolbox until required. I think the tougher ones especially appreciated having options/choices, rather than being advised that this is what you should do and that’s that.
Thank you very much for your time and effort,

The Trust would now like to thank for your efforts in obtaining the grant from past district governor Merv Huxford which will certainly be used for capital expenditure. Many thanks. Please advise the address of the trust so we can respond to the grant.
I understand that it may be possible to obtain further grants from the Trust with help of the Kerikeri Rotary Club and would welcome any suggestion regarding this.

Hi Richard,I have had so many calls regarding the great presentations you made, and what a good meeting (assembly) it was.
I think it was because in the Planning you pushed the need for change, modernising Rotary, and new ideas, that was the message I got, and not one word other than praise for the catering contract.
Thanks for making the even ing a success. Regards Lois.
Hi Richard
Firstly thank you again for your valuable information you shared on your seminar: Successful Sales Management Getting the best out of your staff
This is just a quick note on taking up “The Challenge” to communicate a task that I have implemented into my sales team that I gained from your seminar and to take up your kind offer of a double CD set.
I have set up separate 90 Day Plans for all my reps to give clear focus on the type of sales calls we need to do.
Also I have started to go out on sales calls with the reps to review the process of them making, planning their sales calls.
These are just two of a few procedures that I want to put in place that I got from your worthwhile seminar.
Once again thank you and I look forward to receiving your CD set that I’m sure this will be a great tool.

Hello Richard,
and thanks for your ideas and enthusiasm at the Melbourne Strategic Selling seminar. Lots of ideas and "tools" for the "toolbox"!

Many thanks,

Hi Richard,
Firstly I want to thank you for the great seminar you presented for Pier Augé NSW last Monday. I found it stimulating, exciting and it has made me take some action in several areas of my business.I have put some of the sales techniques into action this week and I have found them very easy to do. My sales have increased as a result.I have also started the 90 day business plan and would love some feedback from you when I finish it. I’ve put some info on the website about being the best salon in Concord and changed my answering machine to include details of my recent national award win and suggest email appointment bookings.I would love to receive your double CD set and start implementing more innovations to my business Anne Cathers
Again personal congratulations from Vivienne and myself on your Sapphire PHF. It goes some way to recognising the quality and immensity of the Rotary work you have done for many years and indeed the work you both continue to do so selflessly.
Kind regards from us to Judith and yourself Peter and Vivienne.
Hi Richard
I did my course 19th June and am keen to receive the double cd set.
There were many great concepts that you covered in the course and it is very much still work-in-progress.
The one task I have focused on of late is actually asking for the order! Simple as that.
AIDA & SPEND are being refined at present.
Thanks again All the bestAndy Hore

Hi Richard, just a quick email to say thank you SO MUCH for your time the other day, it was absolutely brilliant to have you here and get your suggestions. Richard ,I have just had my two staff come back from the Questway training session and may I say they were both positively bubbling with enthusiasm for the course and refreshed with some interesting ideas as shown by the email to me from Anna. I sat down individually with them this morning and discussed what they learnt, and what more we could put in place here at Quest on Johnston and I think you have “unleashed” a couple of “Quest Tigers”
Whatever you did to them, my thanks and keep up the great effort.

HI all,
Just to add on a very special note of thanks to Mr. Richard Gee, who was here in Suva Fiji recently on a Field review.I must admit Mr. Gees 90 Day action plan has been a grand success for Quest Suva business despite the Coup climate which we are suffering from?
On the other hand I feel my staff are very much familiar with the Quest way, after all these visits made by Mr. Gee.
Special Thanks to Mr. Gee.

Networking Accounting Services Dear Richard,
On behalf of Auckland Business SWAP, I would like to sincerely thank you for being our Guest Speaker at the business breakfast meeting on Wednesday 18th April.
Your address "Nobody told you, you cant" with the power point presentation was brilliant and from the positive feed back received was just what was needed to inspire and to fire up SWAPers into getting out there and 'just doing it'.
We do appreciate and thank you for being available to spend time and share your expertise with us on Wednesday, also we thank you for your generosity in donating the three books for the business card draw.
Thank you once again Richard for your support for the SWAP Organisation.
Regards Dawn Mills.
President Auckland Business SWAP. April Meeting News SWAP Auckland
Well it certainly was a Geewiz of a morning when we welcomed none other than Guest Speaker Richard Gee. In his powerful power point presentation “ Nobody told you, you can't”, Richard shared his message of doing what others said can't be done. Invaluable words of advice and wisdom, marketing strategies and practices to put you and your business way ahead.
‘ Think you need to make a change'. ‘Start looking into the future' ‘Remember, people do business with people'. If you want someone to make a decision….keep it simple….give a choice of two. Try presenting your business in 4 different ways, using V-A-R-K, Visual, Audio, Reading , Kinaesthetic.Remember Attitude + Action = Ability. So, 31 countries …..7000 audiences….and 11 books later, plus much more, we sincerely thank Richard for taking the time to come and address our Business meeting and for the support shown to SWAP. What an Inspiration. Check out Richard on his website www.geewiz.co.nz
Good afternoon Richard,I really enjoyed your session at Waitakere. Upon the completion of your session we had a photo shootIs it possible if I can have a copy please.Cheers…………………Jimmy
Thank you very much for your marvellous contribution to the success of Angela Beren Seminar on Monday 23rd of April.
Without your professional direction and handling of the sound systems, as well as the power point I am sure the seminar would not have achieved the tremendous success it proved to be.This function as you probably know was the largest gathering of stroke survivors and carers ever held in New Zealand and probably the most successful project in the health field our Rotary Club has ever attempted
Sincerely,Peter Rigg

Hi Ces,Just a quick note to say thank you for arranging the meeting with Richard. We met this morning and the meeting went really well. Hi Richard. Well all I can say is WOW! It is neat to see you in action like today and really pull some ‘nuts and bolts’ out of the wood work. You make it look so easy, and your assessment within minutes of walking into the shop was bang on.Fantastic to see you at work, and I look forward to catching up with you again soon – next time I would like to shout you lunch if you have timeGood luck on all your current and up-coming ventures. Thanks again.

Hi Richard,
I just thought you might like to know that i have just had my very First Company Presentation to secure a new supplier using the A.i.d.a system. I put together a proposal booklet with the help of others, and then I put together a Power point presentation. I am now booking appointments for definite meetings and getting better responses from the people I talk to. I am now closing with a commitment for the sale or for me to return on a specific time and date to get a answer, if required. I used a lot of the techniques that you taught me in answering the right questions to build up a better understanding of their busness so I can taylor make a good proposel for them.
I am now working on my next Supplier to get more of there business.
Thanks Richard One goal I had was to be more confident and this is now happening all you need is the right knowledge and some great skills, cheers Ross

Richard
I enjoyed attending your recent "Sales Management" training session and wish to respond to "the challenge" issued.
One task I have put into place since attending your training session is to "praise a person a day"
We too frequently express our disappointment when things go wrong but often forget to acknowledge the many things that go right.I have found that offerring praise certainly works and it all helps to lift morale and generates a good feeling amongst the team
Thanks
Look forward to hopefully receiving the CD set

I always get value from your courses and today’s was no exception. I thought Richard did an excellent presentation. In hindsight it would have been very beneficial for my management team to attend as well, I tried to organize Richard to have some time with them tomorrow. Hi Richard ,Thanks for your support on the course that you held this week, its great to get inspiration from the guru. Here are the 3 things that I will be doing for my marketing and to improve my business: Grow my business by one new customer per week from now until 31st august. ( I got 3 last week, but I wont rest for the next 3!) Revisit previous business mentoring assignments and ascertain if I have outgrown my weaknesses, or need to revisit training in those areas on Tuesday 27/3/7. Have my website up and running by the end of April. My business is new but that is no excuse not to have one - it is more so the reason to!
Thanks so much for your offer to work together in the future - if I can be of any help or support to you or your clients, please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a great week and catch up with you again sometime. Kind Regards Andy Mayhew
Dear Richard, You know it's a very strange thing............. about 20 + years ago at the beginning of my sales career I attended one of your "Introduction to Sales" Seminars at Auckland University. It was foundational to the commencement of my sales career, and I learned about AIDA and such, and it must have worked because I have been in sales and marketing ever since. I like your style and way of teaching.(I know you know my brother Mark Taylor). I have just returned from six years in Australia, where we started our second Employrite pre-employment screening business.
Having been pretty much running that business, and now back out promoting the business here, I was wondering what I should do to audit our current sales situation here in NZ, and see where we are at. I believe that I am not achieving the results I need to achieve to take our NZ business (22yrs) to the next level. Its quite a tricky product to sell, and I am not gaining the sales that I should be, so its time to get real and probably get some more training.
I was speaking about my idea (involving you) to a colleague and I returned to the office this afternoon and what should I see but your very advertisement in Auckland Today. (What do they say six degrees of separation?) Well that was enough for me, so I went on-line to get some of your material to see if I could assess the situation and review where I am with things.
My original idea when discussing my dilemma with a colleague was to boldly ring you and ask if you might be able to mentor me, but on consideration I felt that that wouldn't be a fair thing, so I should put my money where my mouth is and purchase the expertise I am after, which was maybe purchasing a few hours with you one on one.
Meantime I can review where I am at with the materials I purchased, and perhaps at a time further down the track I could make contact and possibly arrange a block of a couple of hours and do a role play with you, so that you might assess me and provide me with some pretty straight feedback.
Phew! You must be saying. Yes I agree I convoluted email, but true all the same. If its okay with you, could I give you a call next week and discuss with you what might be a good plan of action. Best regards, Katrina Birchall Director EMPLOYRITE
Hi Richard, Good course on Wednesday... many nice ideas for using in managing a sales team. I am going to be implementing the 90 day plan for a few things (neat idea). Graham and I used some of the techniques in an interview the very next day as well... Given the employment market the way it is, it is difficult to know exactly which areas to compromise in – listening, open ended questions etc.. (knowing that you will need to train people to get the skill vs. not proceeding with the candidate)

Dear Richard,Thanks for the news,
The sensational Selling Strategies program for me a much needed experience & learning that has helped me to work in a more organized way.
I have been using the SPEND and the 25 questions while planning my sales calls and in general have been smiling more and getting a better response from my customers and colleagues. Thanks to you I am now a better person.

Dear Richard, Hope you are doing great. I am sending you this mail to let you know that I had an opportunity today to implement a marketing technique that we learnt from you.
Today I had to meet the General Manager of Taj Malabar and they are really big in terms of business and we had this opportunity to introduce e2Mars to them. I had made a presentation in which I have also introduced the e2M team by showing them photographs of all the team members; this includes Madhav Sir and Radha Ma’am and this is something we never did it before. And the amazing thing is that they were impressed with the booklet that I had made and in my opinion; this also gives an opportunity for the client to ask more about the team members and about the management. Ever since we had met you, the entire team has started taking up initiative in terms of work and responsibility. We have planned out various things that we need to do for bringing in more revenue to the company. As you might be aware that we have set for ourselves a very ambitious target of completing 25 titles for VTC by March 31st and for the same, the entire team is focused on achieving the target. For this particular project we have been in a process of increasing the team strength and getting the resources for the same. We have also have started to work in Day and night shift in order to speed up the production.
However there are many things that we need to do in order to take e2Mars to the next level this includes a proper marketing plan and also prepare all the materials required to market ourselves and I would personally make a point to highlight the team members and the skills they have in all our marketing materials. So before ending I would once again like to thank you on behalf of the e2M team for you’re teachings on how to market ourselves Cheers!!! Satish Philip Center Manager, e2Mars

Morning Richard
I have just had the photos sent thru from Denis taken at the conference. I must say I was a bit hesitant about taking part in your presentation...
I have to say I really enjoyed the day you spent with us and found your approach and methods very worthwhile. Kristine and I signed a new clinic last week, one that had been a long time coming. It is a well appointed salon, she is very active in our industry and visits other salons with IPL (so we need to look after her well).

hi, sir i have attended ur seminar held in vapi in grims mba college. i have learn many things in these seminar.i like ur presentation skill and ur communication t us.hope u will visit again here. ok bye sir take care and enjoy each second of life.-
Hi Richard,I am Aditya and I attended the seminar in Cochin. Your Seminar was a great success.Personally I found out that there are many areas where I can improve.I’m working in a Software testing company as a Business Development Executive. I have to make calls abroad. Also you were mentioning about the funnel. I call it as a pipeline. For me the most important point was – “Everyone feels that today is a bad day”That’s really true. When I make calls, say the first 5 calls I made were rejected. I would usually thinkthat today is not my day. I’m not having a nice day. What you said is that – “Think of our positives and get motivated from it”.But what you mentioned about ATTITUDE…. Its little confusing…Changing the ATTITUDE… Rather difficult to follow.. Also the monthly plan,,,,Thanks & Regards Aditya R > Business Development Executive

Dear Mr. Richard Gee,I would first like to complement you on your course you took for us on 12th January through the KMA in Kochi.
It was indeed refreshing to see such a confident and easy to understand presentation. There were over 70 of us, so I dont know whether you might remember me.
I had asked you for a soft copy of the presentation which was given on that day.
I am e-mialing you to request you to please send me a soft copy of both the presentations made that day.
I had mentioned to you that I had a Direct Sales Team, mainly B2C. Consumer durables. If there is any other material that you might think is useful for me to read, I would appreciate it.
Thanks a lot for your help in the matter and thanks for an inspiring day workshop.
Yours Sincerely,

Dear Madhav, & Richard
Your lecture at KMA on 12th was really beneficial to all our members, and it had a very clear message and action plan.
The CEOs of Kerala should make use of your mentoring skills more because we are way behind all other states in development.
Thank you so much for accepting the invitation to address KMA members. And also a big thank you for bringing Richard Gee for the KMA workshop and meeting.
Please include me in your mailing list, and also let me know if any good speakers are coming down to Cochin.
Also give me some tips on how KMA can play a larger role in Kerala, and especially Cochin which is the commercial hub of the state.
Warm regards,
Ravi (KMA)
Hi Richard I really enjoyed the seminar last week at the Business Development Centre regarding Time Management. One thing that I really took on board from what you said was making small changes that build on one another. I am holding on to the idea that a small change in direction now can lead to me arriving in a very different place in the future. Breaking things down into small steps and just starting to move seems to be really working for me. Thanks again. Regards Jeni Palmer>
Richard good to read your informative news letters am looking at one of the seminars for next year,I often think back to the sales schools at F and P they were good times, i still get asked to do sales training arround the region and fit them in when i can. Thank you very much Richard. Thank you for your time this morning, we all got a lot out of it.

Thank you so much for the cds, I listen to them in the car when Im feeling like a loser and need a pick up...hahaha...is great motivation and just good to hear the things we sometimes forget to do or say.
Greetings Richard
Firstly I want to thank you for the succinct newsletters that you continue to send to "prospects". These are of the 3R description in my opinion - Rare, reasonable & relevant. I feel that I have benefited by reading them, in that they have continued to help me sharpen my saw.
I have been impressed with the knowledge that you have of sales and marketing. "This prospect" would like to pass on the benefit of these Newsletters along with training opportunities to an associate who is soon to take up a new position as Sales Manager in our Company. Regards

Hi Richard Thanks for the sales training. Things I have put into place since the course:
- Working on improving my listening and asking open ended questions.
- Revising my sales presentation. In progess. I haven't given any sales presentations since the course but should be giving some presentations in the next few weeks.
Thanks, Murray Landon
Hi Richard, Great seminar the other day (No I wasn’t there, thought some of the team would gain more from it) They came back pretty fired up and gained a lot from it. I asked Hope and Hamish to do a presentation the rest of the team, they did that today and was pleasantly surprised, they did a great job. Once again thanks Regards, Wayne Deas Southern Stars Charitable Trust
Hi Richard, Thanks for your presentation at the conference in Queenstown. Time has flown since then. But the good news is I actually took action in the week after I returned. The last few weeks I've been putting together details of a few new programs for 2007 and updating web site for those. And this week I held the first (Trial program) of a new teleclass format. Good news for future success. If the CD offer is still going that would be great. Thanks again. Stuart Ayling.
Hi Richard,
Well things have changed for the better in my sales approach / presentations to customers.
I have changed my body language, now use a pen to point and give all my customers something to look at whilst I give my pitch.
I always tell my customers that I understand their problem and repeat the problem, before using open ended questioning to listen to the details of that problem. We now work out those problems together.
There are a few customers that I have been closing deals with for a while, a lot of it out of the control of the customer and myself, but I am making myself known to the decision makers and working through their queries.
My skills are definately improving Thanks Janine Chadderton
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your presentation last week. I was very well received by all. Rgs Mark Bateman
On Behalf of the MRSNZ and me personally I would like to thank you and the SMI for the opportunity to speak at your conference today. It was a fantastic opportunity to get in front of some of your members and further strength the relationship between our two associations. I thought the talk went extremely well and I look forward to working closely together as we move our two sides of the discipline forward,Kind Regards Gregg
Hi Richard Just a quick note to say a BIG thank you for arranging Cold Calling for Scaredy Cats. The workshop was brilliant and all who attending from Southern Stars, myself included have come back to the office fired up and ready to put some of the thoughts, ideas and suggestion into action.Again thank you.Graeme

Hi Richard
One of the things I learnt from attending your seminar was to go over the training manual again and again until it is ingrained in my head - in doing so this morning I remembered you offered us the opportunity of receiving free CD's that would assist us in being more successful in our chosen field.
I would like to take you up on your offer please.
Thank you. Regards Alison CaveThe Right Staff
Hi Richard , Sylvia here, a Kiwi-Australian from Perth Business Swap in West Australia Thank you for your presentation at the Queenstown convention and for your follow-up email via the Australian office.I was thrilled to receive the postcard a great reminder of my self promise to ‘do something different every day’ This promise is a powerful gift, a habit that I’m nurturing.Thank you too for your CD offer – my address. Hi Richard, have been very busy since returning from Convention. Thank you for being one of our speakers, that breakfast seemed to go so quickly I wish you had been presenting longer.
One thing I have done on return: recommenced my get healthy campaign and returned to Weight Watches. Each day I have endeavoured to do something I did not do the day before. Has not been easy, but I am succeeding.
Thank you once again. Dianne Vecchiet. Gold Coast Business SWAP
Richard, After your talk I have been trying to do one thing better each day, and that means standardising many of my letters and designs, templates, just one a day, there are many 100s and it was very challenging before so I didnt do it.Thanks Fibercon Mark Combe
Dear Richard
Thank you so much for sending through the words from your book for my Indian students. It has been so useful in fact far better than the recommended text that was supplied by the school for me to use.
My students can understand what you are saying and the lay out is user friendly.
I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation at the Sale seminar in Melbourne and it is right to have saved the best till last with you being the last speaker of the day. You gave so much of your knowledge without gimmicks and I am sure the audience really appreciated your expertise.
I wish you well in all your future speaking engagements Best wishes Michelle Lowe
Hi Richard,
Just to let you know, I really appreciate the training I did with you on 16/10/06. have used most of the actions you taught me. was out of the office all week last week, meeting all my clients and did the answering with a question and it really worked, also have planned my calls and today will be working out my call plan for the new month. Thank you so much.RegardsEmma Va'aeluaAccount Manager Chaucer Press Ltd
Hi Richard,
I have received your CD, thank you very much. I listen to it on the way to and from work. Very interesting. I am not into marketing, but have found the info will be of value. Implemented my strategy (see below, except I have asked for a success they have achieved over the last week) for the first time today, good response. Certainly get a different set of answers than simply getting updates, more positive. all good.
kind regards Paul.
Yes, I have made my letters to clients a bit more personal and less legal. thanks Carlos
Hi Richard Thank you for your follow up email. Your presentation demonstrated that the kiwis certainly are innovative and as a result I was motivated to talk with Deb Bell who is assisting us to bring our internet assessment program to NZ for all trainers and coaches to use not only to keep their students of knowledge competent, but provide a source of RO Income.Regards Craig
thank you for posting back my postcard with my short term goal that i wrote down- i like to advise that i have maintained my focus and over the past week have connected with two new distributors to my organisation and am set to connect with one other this week thank you once again for your very enlightening talk at the swap convention kind regards janet
Hi Richard, Thanks for the follow up.I enjoyed your presentation at the Business Swap Convention in Queenstown. Really left me with some key points to apply in my life.I have organised a further seminar presentation (i.e. I present it) prior to Christmas, and I have made an appointment with a local motor vehicle dealer for presentation of an in-house sales training program. Many thanks for the kick in the backside that I needed.Kind regards, Peter Close
Hi Richard One thing you said early in your great presentation was that people dobusiness with people. That one line really resonated with me and back in Australia I made a simple change to my home page to incorporate that as partof what we do. Actually I made significant changes to the home page but the first was inspired by you! See for yourself

Hi Richard
Thank you for a very inspirational presentation at the PMINZ conference earlier this month. You certainly made a number of ideas that I've read about over the last few years seem very simple to implement.
One of the ideas that I put into practice the day I returned to work is the idea of rewarding good work from a team member when it occurs to encourage it to happen again. I'm now spending more time with the team actually looking for positive things to comment on. A number of the team appeared a little sceptical at first but the increase in performance and results since I started is quite noticeable. As is the improvement in the attitude of the team. Thank you.
(BTW I first read about this idea in an animal training book called "Don't Shoot the Dog" by Karen Prior. She called this "positive reinforcement", but I guess you already know this.)
I'm also working on varying my communication style and rewards to match the personality of the individual team members. It seems that it's still a little early to notice a change in the team, but I can certainly notice a change in how closely I now listen to what they are saying, and more importantly, to how it is being said. I've been able to pick up far more cues about what is going on internally than I've ever done previously. This has resulted in better, more open communication both at the one-on-one level and during team meetings.
Once again, thank you for a couple of uplifting presentations and some great ideas.
Cheers

Dear Richard
We’re back!
Christine & I went to the Queenstown in New Zealand, having traveled quite a bit, I’m convinced it is one of the most scenic towns in the world. We were working…our purpose for going was to attend the annual convention of a business group we belong to - Business Swap. (Troy was busy taking photos, while we were learning!)
We heard so many brilliant speakers, and one of those, was a guy by the name of Richard Gee. Once you meet Richard – he’s hard to forget!
He was our opening speaker – and his message was clear and simple
“Do one thing better than yesterday!”
Simple – I know – but it makes so much sense.
Just think about it… Richard shared that we do about 2500 tasks everyday!
Imagine if you allocated one task per day to improve upon.
Anything from drinking an extra glass of water a day, saying I love you to your partner, picking up the phone and calling a client or thanking a client!
The power at the end of the week? Month? 90 day quarter?
For your personal life and your business!
You just know it would work! And the strategy achieves goals!
You can learn more from Richard Gee at www.geewiz.co.nz
We’ve set ourselves a goal to do one thing better than we did yesterday…
....what can you do?
Perhaps you would like to start implementing a Customer Love strategy? CLICK HERE to learn more. Or maybe you’d like to create an even bigger impact and give a gift, like a personalised Luggage tag (Christmas is coming!) CLICK HERE
Have fun loving your customers!

Hi Richard
I really enjoyed your session at Queenstown.
After convention, I took the long way home and spent a week with friends north of Auckland. I have now completed two tasks selected in your Challenge and would be delighted to receive the CD you spoke about.
Hi Richard Great to catch up with you at the Business Swap convention.Thank you so much for your presentation. I really enjoyed your presentation. We often forget the little things and by concentrating on doing one thing better than yesterday it is so easy to improve our lives both professionally and personally. Each morning I wake up, I set myself my one thing to do better. What a great feeling at the end of the week when I see what I have achieved. Once again, thank you very much and hopefully we will see you in Australia again soon. All the bestChristine Parker
Hi Richard,
Unfortunately, I missed your session at Convention due to being down with the flu, contracted on my flight over. However, I heard members talking about your session and how great it was. Congratulations.
I always get heaps from listening to achievers like yourself. One of the areas that was strengthened at Conference for me, was how powerful the mind is, and when harnessed, will always allow you to achieve whatever you want in life.
Thank you once again for your terrific input to our Convention.

Hi Richard,
Really enjoyed your presentations at the PMI conference recently. I found the material motivational and a good kick in the backside to lift my head out of the business of everyday, focus more on the person behind the customer and be a better leader to my team. I walked away with a ton of actions. Thank you.
I would be very keen on your CD to keep me going in the right direction.

I am writing to you on behalf of my three colleagues, Mary Sawers, Lyn Richardson and Kieran Reilly, Senior Project Managers, who attended the recent PMI conference in Christchurch.
My colleagues really enjoyed your presentations and would like to have an electronic version of your presentation slides from your session at the conference. I would therefore be grateful if you could send a copy to me to pass on to them.
Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

Hello Richard, thanks for your presentation last week in Sydney - I enjoyed it immensely and found the whole day pretty inspiring.I was curious though - at the beginning of your session, you asked who had a 'to do list", and I'm pretty sure you were advocating that this was a waste of time ?? what is your alternative to organising how to do what needs to be done in either short, medium or long term ?? when you have a moment I'd love to know what you do to organise your time. regards Chris Christopher Shain - Photographer

As a matter interest I will follow this email up after my ‘Face 2 Face’ contact to let you know the outcome.

Hi Richard,
I really enjoyed your presentation and I would like to thank you for sharing so much with the audience.
I have put two things into action and I hope to do more.
The first is that we are now personalising our customer packages and newsletters for weight loss clients. We now have the customer's name on the outside of the presentation folder and on all of the sheets inside the folder, including the newsletter.
The second is that we have started a better than yesterday action list. This is quite challenging, but everyday I am selecting one task. Yesterday it was personal development, so I read some pages from a sales book. Today is is about being more likable.
I remember that during your presentation you mentioned you would be able to send a CD set to those who sent an email about items put into action. Hence the reason for the email. I would be very grateful to you if you could please send the CD set to my address as below.

Thanks Richard, Was a great day. I am a fellow Kiwi, moved over in 97 and just started my own business developing eLearning courses. Currently got a contract with the Red Cross to develop their First Aid course online. Running solo at the moment and using IT contractors to build the coruses.
Hopefully getting some more business in the next few weeks. Would be ideal to catch up before the end of the year if possible, maybe lat Nov early Dec. Am very flexible with the dates. Cheers
Lee

Hi Richard
I saw you yesterday at Sell 2006 in Sydney and was really motivated into action! You asked for an email on action and goals and today I will read all notes from yesterday and start setting myself daily goal/goals. With all the courses and sales training I have done this has been the biggest challenge for me - Goal Setting. I made a commitment to myself to start off small daily goals then work up to monthly, 6 monthly yearly and lifetime.
I also set myself a goal of practice and using David Jackson script on overcoming objections and did start that on the train home last night.
Have a great day!

Hello Richard,I enjoyed your session on Monday. I would like to start the better action list and focus on the single minded focus.I am having a hard time finding the list. Can you help me? Also you promised a cd for anyone to start something in 30 days. That’s 2 things as well as the 90 day action plan.I appreciate your enthusiasm and I want to carry it forward.Thank you againKen Jackwitz
